Who doesn't like a good holiday fundraiser!!
We wanted to do something special this year. As pet lovers, helping out some kitties and puppers seemed like the obvious choice!
Charities like these are sometimes overlooked, but their organizers and volunteers put their hearts and souls into saving stray and surrendered pets in our area. This is our way of saying thank you to them! All net sales of these jigs will go directly to the charities and our goal is to raise a minimum of $1500 for each organization.
Funds for Furry Friends
Funds for Furry Friends is a nationally registered charity run by volunteers. Their organization has been in operation since 2001 and is located in Brandon MB. Their Goals are to work with the public to care for and provide shelter to stray, abandoned and feral cats and dogs in the Westman and surrounding area, provide the highest level of care to every animal who enters their programs and immediate veterinary treatment to sick or injured cat and dogs, and to match adoptable cats and dogs with loving families who will provide them with care and attention for the rest of their natural lives.

Virden Pet Network
Virden Pet Network was formed in 2007 and became a registered charity in 2008. the organization was created by Virden neighbors who were troubled by the high number of stray cats in town. Their mission is to help the community and others in southwestern Manitoba address the problem of feline overpopulation by taking stray cats and kittens into their care or providing temporary foster homes, having them treated for emergent conditions, vaccinating and altering, and adopting them into responsible homes. They also provide programs to help prevent unwanted litters and provide a better quality of life for companion animals.
